Unics Kazan added a long distance threat to its roster, signing sharpshooter Arturas Milaknis to a two-year contract. Milaknis (1.95 meters, 29 years old) arrives from the Lithuanian champion Zalgiris Kaunas and he is coming off his career-best season during which he averaged 10 points and burried 60 three-point shots on 46.2% accuracy in 24 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games. He was one of only three players last season to hit at least 60 triples in the competition, and he also posted 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists. Kaunas-born shooter is a veteran of 81 games during six Euroleague seasons who grew up and spent majority of his career with Zalgiris, where he made his professional debut in 2006, and the following season he already made his Euroleague debut with the club, too. He made his Eurocup debut in 2012-13 season with Rudupis Prienai, averaginig 9.0 points on 46.7% three-point shooting.
