Fiat Turin brought back a familiar player to its roster, none other than forward Jamil Wilson, who signed a contract for the remainder of the season, the club announced Tuesday. Wilson (2.01 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Virtus Bologna, where he averaged 2.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in three Italian games last season. He had an eventful 2017-18 season, which he started with Brose Baskets Bamberg. Wilson left to join Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA, averaging seven points in 15 games, and also played for Fort Wayne and Ontario in the G-League. He already played for Fiat in the 2016-17 season, averaging 13 points and 5.9 rebounds in 30 Italian League games. Wilson has also played for Bakersfield and Texas of the D-League, and Cangrejeros de Santurce of Puerto Rico. Wilson will join the team after the birth of his first child, scheduled to arrive to this world on September 10.
