GasTerra Flames Groningen remains atop the Dutch League standings after improving to 15-5 by beating Magixx Playing for KidsRights 100-84. Sergio de Randamie scored 27 points, David Bell had 20 and Jason Dourisseau posted 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the winners, who broke the game open in the third quarter after leading 43-41 at halftime. Lucas Hargrove paced Magixx with 24 points and 9 boards. Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden moved ahead of EiffelTowers in the battle for second place with a 67-53 win. Jevohn Shepherd scored 16 and Seamus Boxley 14 for Leiden, which improved to 14-4. The hosts outscored the Towers in each quarter and held them to 8 fourth-quarter points to put the game away. In other games, Landstede Zwolle routed Leeuwarden 56-89 behind Damon Huffman’s 26 points and Rotterdam edged BSWeert 76-80.
