LIETUVOS RYTAS brings in Vidas Ginevicius

 Lietuvos Rytas extended its roster for the new season with the addition of veteran Euroleague point guard Vidas Ginevicius (195, 21) to a one-year deal. Ginevicius arrives from Lietuvos Rytas' archirival, Zalgiris Kaunas, where he played from 2000 to 2007. Last season, he played in the Russian League second division with Spartak-Primorje Vladivostok. In his six Euroleague seasons with Zalgiris, Ginevicius averaged 4.2 points per game, his all-time high being the 24 points he scored against FC Barcelona on Novermber 25, 2004.
