Not too many teenage athletes need no introduction to an international audience, but the next Fan Mail guest on Euroleague.net is certainly one of them. Ricky Rubio of Regal FC Barcelona has been in the spotlight for several years, first dominating the European junior circuit, then setting steals records as a 16-year-old Euroleague rookie, winning the ULEB Cup, the Spanish King's Cup and a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. By then, the entire basketball world had taken notice, but Rubio keeps giving fans and experts alike more reasons to pay attention. This season, the 19-year-old point guard has been the only player to start all 16 games on the team with the Euroleague's best overall record, directing a Barcelona team otherwise full of veterans that he leads in assists, steals, free-throw accuracy and plenty of intangibles. As such, Rubio is one major player to watch as Barcelona heads into the Playoffs for a five-game quarterfinal series against its eternal rival, Real Madrid, starting on Tuesday, March 23. Before the start of the series, Rubio will take Fan Mail , so now's your chance to ask Ricky your question!
