Euroleague Basketball is proud to announce that the King of Spain, Don Juan Carlos I, was in attendance at Friday's 2008 Final Four semifinals. King Don Juan Carlos I is a well-known sports fan, who always supports Spanish teams around the world. So he made it a point to be in the stands not only to see the semifinals, one of them featuring Spanish powerhouse Tau Ceramica against CSKA Moscow, but also for the chance to attend the 50 Years of European Club Basketball on-court ceremony. King Don Juan Carlos I is the reigning King of Spain since November 22, 1975 and successfully oversaw the transition of Spain to parliamentary democracy.
