Fans in yellow, red start to pack the arena
The doors to Sinan Erdem Dome are open and fans are streaming in. The buzz surrounding the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four is rising to new levels. As expected, the predominant color on the streets around the arena and inside is canary yellow, with Fenerbahce Istanbul fans expected to fill every nook and cranny in the hall. However, the word on the street is that many Olympiacos Piraeus fans purchased tickets following the semifinal victory and the Reds plan to have a several-thousand strong showing. First there will be the third-place game, Real Madrid vs. CSKA Moscow. However, don’t be surprised to see the fans in yellow and fans in red trying to out-sing each other hours before the championship begins.

EBI Master students in packed Final Four session
Some of the busiest and most privileged visitors to the Final Four this and every season are the students of the EBI Master in Sports Management and Marketing, whose four-day session in Istanbul has been packed with both lectures and behind-the-scenes access to the vast organizational and communications efforts at the event. Most importantly, the students have held classes during the Final Four with several of the ranking experts in varied sports fields who were in Istanbul for the festivities. Amid a long list of speakers, they heard on Thursday from a club marketing director, Filip Sunturlic of Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade, about re-branding. On Friday, they attended the International Symposium on Basketball Science for almost five hours' worth of presentations. On Saturday, they got insights into the sporting goods industry from Cem Karamuersel, Nike Accounting Director. And they kept busy today hearing from Jordi Balsells, Vice President of Desigual, on the intersection between sports and fashion; Jan Pommer, ESL Gaming's Director Team & Federation Relations, about the rise of eSports; and Adam Kelly, IMG Media's Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, about trends in sports broadcasting. Their studies last the better part of a year, but this Final Four session is the highlight in terms of hands-on, real-time learning for the EBI Master students.

ANGT title game heats up the Sinan Erdem Dome
The annual tip-off to championship Sunday at the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four is the Euroleague Basketball ADIDAS NEXT GENERATION TOURNAMENT Finals Championship Game, which this season pitted U18 CFBB Paris against U18 Mega Bemax Belgrade. Although Sunday morning brought with it the first rain of the week, it could not dampen the atmosphere at Sinan Erdem Dome. While the stars of tomorrow shined on the hardwood, they were closely followed by dozens of scouts, noteworthy coaches and current and former players. Among them were Turkish national team and Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul head coach Ergin Ataman and Dusan Ivkovic, who won the EuroLeague on this very court five seasons ago with Olympiacos Piraeus. The Zizic brothers were also in attendance; Andrija, a former EuroLeague champion, sat with younger brother Ante, who was the runner up in voting for the Rising Star Trophy this season. Multiple-time EuroLeague winner Zoran Savic also followed the game closely as did George Zidek, who was on the EuroLeague.TV announcing team that streamed the game live worldwide.
