Lietuvos Rytas signs Jared Jordan

Jared Jordan, Lietuvos RytasLietuvos Rytas expects to change backup point guards after its next Euroleague game at home on Wednesday agains Cibona. Leaving the club is Darrel Mitchell, although he will play in Wednesday's game. He will be replaced by rookie Jared Jordan of the United States, who is due in Vilnius, Lithuania for a physical exam and contract activation on Thursday. Jordan will play behind Hollis Price, whose original partner in the backcourt was to be veteran Roberts Stelmahers, who is out long-term with injury. Jordan comes from Marist College, where he was the first player in decades to lead the NCAA in assists for two consecutive seasons. Mitchell was averaging 6 minutes on the floor through the first six Euroleague games.
