Taming the champs: In Round 3 of the regular season, Fenerbahce beat Real Madrid 77-66 at home in a rematch of their 2015 Final Four semifinal. Fenerbahce tamed the champs by forcing 18 turnovers, while Ekpe Udoh and Luigi Datome scored 15 points each.

The art of the comeback: Bogdan Bogdanovic poured in 20 points in Top 16 Round 3 as Fenerbahce rallied from 9 points behind in the fourth quarter to defeat Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar 85-79. Back-to-back threes by Bogdanovic and Luigi Datome in the closing minutes gave the hosts the lead for good.

Defense reigns: Fenerbahce went on the road to edge Lokomotiv 52-55 in Top 16 Round 10 defensive showdown that solidified its position atop Group F. Its point total was the second-lowest for a winning team in a Euroleague game over the past decade.

The clincher: Fenerbahce took care of Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul 77-69 in Top 16 Round 11 to clinch first place with three games to go. Datome scored 9 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter and Udoh netted 18 to lead the way.

Home-court perfection: In Game 2 of the playoffs, Fenerbahce routed outgoing champion Real Madrid 100-78 to take a commanding 2-0 series lead and to complete a perfect season at home with its 21st consecutive Euroleague win at Ulker Sports Arena.
