Brose Baskets Bamberg re-signs forward Miller

Brose Baskets Bamberg started to get ready for a new Turkish Airlines Euroleague season by re-signing small forward Darius Miller until the end of the 2017-18 season, the club announced Tuesday. Miller (2.03 meters, 26 years old) averaged 9.4 points in 24 Euroleague games, hitting 40.3% of his three-point shots and 90.9% of his free throw attempts. His best game came against Olympiacos Piraeus, in which he had 23 points to lead Bamberg to its first-ever Top 16 road win. Miller arrived in Bamberg in February 2015 and has helped the team win back-to-back German League titles in each of the last two seasons. Miller has also played for New Orleans of the NBA and Iowa of the D-League. He helped the USA U18 national team win a gold medal at the 2009 World Championships, and also lifted the 2012 NCAA Tournament trophy with the University of Kentucky, after having reached the final four in 2011. "I am feel more than good in the organization," Miller said. "I can continue developing at the highest European level. I am looking forward to two more years."
