German champion Brose Bamberg has added proven Turkish Airlines EuroLeague experience to its backcourt by signing a two-year deal with guard Fabien Causeur, the club announced on Tuesday. A five-year EuroLeague veteran, Causeur (1.95 meters, 29 years old) is coming off arguably the best season of his career in the competition. Playing for Laboral Kutxa Vitoria Gasteiz, he posted personal EuroLeague highs of 10.3 points and 39.5% three-point shooting along with 3.1 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.1 steals per game. He started the first 20 games of the season, but due to a back injury had to miss the last four rounds of the Top 16 and the playoffs, while only appearing for 3 minutes during the Final Four. Causeur has spent the last four seasons with Laboral after debuting in the EuroLeague with Cholet of his native France in the 2010-11 season. He has averaged 8.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in his 93-game EuroLeague career. Causeur played three seasons in total for Cholet - including two in the EuroCup - after started his pro career with four seasons for Le Havre in his France. He has also suited up for the French national team in the past at both the Olympic Games and the Basketball World Cup.
