Maccabi's Goudelock may miss EuroLeague opener
Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv announced Monday that one of its biggest off-season signings, scoring ace Andrew Goudelock, may miss the start of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season with a leg injury. Goudelock, who was the EuroLeague's second-best scorer two seasons ago, underwent testing on Monday that revealed a partial tear in a thigh muscle. He will be treated with physiotherapy and is expected to be off the court for about four weeks, the club said in its statement. Maccabi is due to open its EuroLeague season on the road against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan 23 days from now, on Thursday, October 13. Maccabi's home opener is a week later, on October 20, against Real Madrid.
