Brose Bamberg signed veteran guard Jerel McNeal to a two-month contract to help strengthen the backcourt. The team has the option to extend the deal for the remainder of the season. McNeal (1.91 meters, 29 years old) last played for Aris Thessaloniki in Greece, for whom he averaged 14.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 16 EuroCup games last season. He also led the Greek League in scoring last season with 14.1 points per game. McNeal previously suited up for Zheijiang Chouzhou in China, Montegranaro in Italy, Phoenix in the NBA, Rio Grande and Bakersfield of the D-League and Dexia Mons-Hainaut in Belgium.
