In a busy Friday morning, Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz made official the addition of small forward Patricio Garino for the next three seasons. Garino (1.98 meters, 24 years old) arrives from the Austin Spurs of the D-League, where he averaged 11.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.5 steals. He played college ball at George Washington from 2012 to 2016 and last season he also made his NBA debut with the Orlando Magic. Also a member of the Argentina national team, Garino is currently participating in the FIBA Americas Cup with his team. This will be Garino's debut in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
