Valencia Basket and guard Sam Van Rossom will mark their fifth season together after the sides agreed on another contract on Sunday. Van Rossom (1.88 meters, 31 years old) missed the end of last season due to a knee injury as Valencia won the Spanish League title for the first time, but he recovered in time to average 10.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists for Belgium at EuroBasket 2017. This season will mark his second EuroLeague campaign after he averaged 11.4 points and 5.0 assists for Valencia in 2014-15. Van Rossom started his professional career with Ostend in his native Belgium and also played for Scavolini Pesaro in Italy and Zaragoza in Spain before joining Valencia in 2013. He helped Valencia win the 2014 EuroCup, too.
