Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz has agreed with guard Matt Janning to extend their temporary contract until the end of the season, the club announced Friday. Janning (1.93 meters, 29 years old) arrived to the team last September to fill in for injured Jordan McRae. Since then, Janning has made eight EuroLeague appearances, starting in three of them, and has averaged 7.3 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists. He has scored in double digits in each of his last four games with Baskonia, three of them ending in wins for the team. "It is a great feeling knowing that I will be a part of this team this season," Janning said after signing the new contract. "I think we changed our perspective on the season in the last two weeks and I want to be a part of it until the end of the year."
