Entertainers add to Final Four fun

Stark Arena in Belgrade will be buzzing this coming weekend - and not solely because the continent's greatest basketball stars will be competing for the trophy at the 2018 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four. Even when basketballs are not bouncing, an array of pre-game, post-game and halftime entertainers will be giving fans plenty more talent to enjoy.

This year, the special attractions come courtesy of Elements Entertainment, which promises to put on a unique and spectacular show that will engage all visual and auditory senses. A Germany-based group of companies specializing in special-effects production and multimedia shows, Elements Entertainment is taking part in the Final Four for the first time. Elements Entertainment combines experts in fields like pyrotechnics with years of experience in production management, creative concepts and visual art design. Under creative and show director Hans-Christoph Mücke, fans can expect a unique symbiosis of sport and show that meets the moment of the biggest basketball event in Europe.

One of Europe's leading basketball presentation teams, the duo of MC Simon Hosannah and DJ Mark Leonard, will help get the building moving during the games and intermissions. Going by the name of FunkyTown Entertainments, Hosannah is "the guy on the mic". He can be heard entertaining crowds around the world, before and during games at the Olympics, in the NBA and, of course, at Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Fours. DJ Len is responsible for the music and sound effects heard during the games.

"I am honored to be chosen to be the musical director for what will be my sixth Euroleague Final Four," Leonard said. "The whole event is spectacular and the way the fans get behind their teams is fantastic. The performers are always first class and the cheerleaders always put on a great show. Putting together playlists to keep the energy going gives me such a buzz."

The official game announcer for all four Final Four contests will be Eddy Vidal, who has been the voice of Euroleague Basketball since its very beginnings, announcing 16 consecutive Final Fours and presenting numerous draws and awards ceremonies. In addition, working three Olympic Games, two EuroBaskets, a World Cup and dozens of NBA games in Europe have made Vidal one of the most recognizable voices in European basketball.
