Darussafaka Istanbul signed big man Cory Jefferson
to fortify its frontline. This will be the second Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season for Jefferson (2.06 meters, 27 years old), who averaged 3.5 points and 1.3 rebounds over 13 games for AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan last season. He left the club midway through the season and joined Texas, with which he posted 12.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 10 D-League games. Jefferson has also played for Brooklyn and Phoenix of the NBA, Alaska Aces in the Philippines and Austin, Maine and Bakersfield of the D-League. In college, he helped Baylor University win the NIT title in 2013.
