FC Barcelona Regal gets young prospect Todorovic
As announced by FC Barcelona Regal, young prospect Marko Todorovic signed a two-year contract with the Spanish champions after the club reached an agreement with Joventut Badalona, the previous owner to the rights of the player. Todorovic (2.09 meters, 20 years old) was formed at the Joker School in his native Podgorica, Montenegro. In 2008 he was signed by Joventut and he started playing in the junior team. In the 2009-10 season he played with related club El Prat in the Spanish third division. Last season he managed to lead the team into the playoffs to get into the second division. He averaged 16.6 points and 8.2 rebounds in over 26 minutes per game. He was chosen MVP of the third division. Todorovic made his debut in the Spanish League on March 5, 2011 against Real Madrid, and has played a total 14 games with the first team averaging 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds. Todorovic will make his debut in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague this season.
