Asseco Prokom keeps Blassingame
Jerel Blassingame - Asseco Prokom GdyniaAs announcved by the club on Friday morning, Asseco Prokom Gdynia and guard Jerel Blassingame extended their agreement for one more season. Blassingame (1.75 meters, 31 years old) averaged 5.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists last season in 10 Turkish Airlines Euroleague regular season games. He ranked eighth overall in that phase in the Assists category, while in the Polish League he was second best with an average of 6.6 assists. Blassingame starred in the Polish League for Energa Czarni Slupsk before joining Asseco Prokom last season. The well-travelled playmaker has also suited up for AEK Athens in Greece, Maccabi Rishon Lezion in Israel, ENAD in Cyprus, Solna in Sweden and Odessa in Ukraine after a college basketball career at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
