Buducnost brings Cole at point guard
Buducnost Voli Podgorica continued refreshing its roster ahead of the mid-point mark of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season as the team announced the signing of point guard Norris Cole on Friday night. Cole (1.88 meters, 30 years old) is the third player brought in by the Montenegrin powerhouse in the last three days, joining center Goga Bitadze and forward James Bell. Cole arrives from Sidigas Avellino of Italy, where he averaged 16.3 points and 6.1 assists in the Italian League, and 16.1 points, 6.6 assists and 4.4 rebounds in the FIBA Basketball Champions League. Last season, Cole made his EuroLeague debut with Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, where in a role off the bench he posted 12.6 points, 3.8 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 steal. Cole is a veteran of six NBA seasons, winning two titles with Miami in 2012 and 2013. He also played with New Orleans and Oklahoma City in the NBA, and Shandong in the Chinese League.
