Head Coaches

VUKOICIC, VLADA
Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade
"It was a fair win by Galatasaray. We couldn’t say that we were favorites before the game even though they lost to Unics at home last week. They controlled the game from the beginning. Maybe we expected too much out of this game in terms of result. We needed to be on our maximum in order to win tonight. Since they played great and we didn’t, they easily won. We are moving on to the next games."
ATAMAN, ERGIN
Galatasaray Medical Park
"First of all, I’d like to say that the atmosphere in the arena was amazing. The Red Star fans are the best crowd in Europe in the last few years; congratulations to them. It was really important for us to win tonight after we lost last week. We opened the game very good, especially Gordon and Aroyo. We stopped Red Star’s running game and we managed to control Rakocevic with Gordon. Good control of the paint gave us control of the result for the entire 40 minutes. "

Players

NELSON, DEMARCUS
Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade
"It was a good game tonight with two teams with big aspirations in the competition. They played really well both defensively and offensively. We were supposed to do much more in defense, but we didn’t. We have to get better in pick-and-roll defense, one-on-one defense, to find smarter solutions. "
MACVAN, MILAN
Galatasaray Medical Park
"It was a very hard game tonight in this arena. I would like to congratulate my teammates and coach; this was a big win for us. The competition is long and we have to play four more games. With this win, we managed to come back after last week’s defeat."
