ZDOVC, JURE
Union Olimpija Ljubljana
"First of all, I want to congratulate both teams for their effort to win the game. Both teams were suffering problems before the new season. My players made a great effort to win the game and I'm very happy to see the way they were challenging, especially in the overtime minutes. We bounced back twice at the end of regular time and also at the end of the first overtime and never gave up the fight. This is a good sign for the next games, but we still have long way to become a more stable team."
PERASOVIC, VELIMIR
Efes Pilsen Istanbul
"We are really sad to lose a game that we brought to the winning point twice. We allowed critical offensive rebounds, especially in the overtimes. It is a pity to say that, but we had no big threat inside the paint. That made us an easily defendable team and eased the way for our opponent, Union Olimpija. Anyway, we will be looking forward to winning two home games for the good of our position in the group."

GONLUM, KEREM
Efes Pilsen Istanbul
"We are extremely upset about the way we lost. We lost a game that we could have won before the overtime and also at the end of the first overtime. Congratulations to Union Olimpija. They never gave up and fought to win the game whenever they went down 4 or 5 points. Of cours we were aiming for a winning start, but it's just the start of the season and we have still long way in the group."
