De Colo answered from downtown, which Iverson erased with a dunk-and-foul. Vorontsevich fired in a three-pointer, but Shengelia singlehandedly brought Laboral within 79-74. CSKA Moscow
"First of all, congratulations to my players and the team. I don't count the number of consecutive wins that we have. The important thing is that we are in the Top 16 and every point, every rebound, every mistake matters, maybe even double. We played a good game most of the way and managed to score some easy points, especially we had a good transition game in the beginning but in the third quarter, we were very bad in passing the ball. It also matters that Laboral Kutxa started to play a little bit more aggressive and we turned the ball over very often and that didn't give us the fluency that we want to have. There are no secrets; it is hard work being focused in what we are doing. We are going game by game, this is the Top 16 so every point matters. Congratulations to the team and thanks to our fans for their support."
NAVARRO, IBON
Laboral Kutxa Vitoria
"Our defense in the first half punished us in the end. We were not able to stop CSKA’s fast breaks and allowed the opponents to score 26 points having one foul to give in the end of first quarter. In the second we did not play our best defense. After the break I think CSKA was not as aggressive, they did not deny the passes, did not press us and allowed us to pass the ball more. We improved in the second half, but not enough to win the game."

Players

WEEMS, SONNY
CSKA Moscow
"We should not let anyone, especially in the Top 16, take more than 20 offensive rebounds, because we will pay for that. We started the game really good. To compete in the Top 16, we cannot give up till the last minute, but today our third quarter was bad."
FRIDZON, VITALY
CSKA Moscow
"It’s very good that we won today, although we missed a lot of chances to score. I think that our opponents believed that they could win the game and they were close to doing that. Maybe if they had a bit more desire, it would have happened. We need to draw the right conclusions."
NICHOLS, DEMETRIS
CSKA Moscow
"I think that the key to success was playing defense and outworking our opponents. We worked really, really hard last week in practice. We are playing well, but obviously we want to do better things defensively, but the key was outworking them and doing what we do. We are going game by game and trying to get better game by game, practice by practice. We don't really get caught up in how many games we won in a row. We just want to be the best that we can be in every single game."
SAN EMETERIO, FERNANDO
Laboral Kutxa Vitoria
"We started the game badly, they were good in fast breaks, so we couldn’t come back. In our second half we have made good effort, played good on defense and we did not let them run. Our team had a chance to be in the game, but in the end CSKA scored a couple of three-point shots and it closed the game."
SHENGELIA, TORNIKE
Laboral Kutxa Vitoria
"It was a tough game. CSKA is one of the best teams in Euroleague, especially when they play at home. They came out strong in the first half and I think that’s why we lost the game. Our second half was good on both sides of the court: on offense and on defense. We let them score easy shots in transition and we could not stop them with fouls. "
