Unicaja Malaga
“We began the game really bad, it was horrible. They were ten points up, and after that step by step we got closer and had chances to win in the last minutes. But our hard beginning, our turnovers and our free throws were the worst part of our game. They won two quarters and we won two quarters, but that’s not enough to win on this kind of court. We need a bit more experience – we’ve got six new guys who never played here before – and a bit more calm to not commit mistakes when things are going wrong. But we competed and didn’t give up, we committed some silly turnovers at the end, but I’m proud because we didn’t lie down and stayed competitive until the last minute. When you miss 50% of your free throws and commit 17 free throws, you can’t complain [about the result].”
