Head Coaches

STOMBERGAS, SAULIUS
Zalgiris Kaunas
"We had a really good game today. I want to congratulate our guys. Partizan players are taller, but we managed to win both offensive and defensive rebounds. That was our main task before the game and the guys filled it perfectly. Our youngest player, Tomas Dimsa, needs to be mentioned for his perfect display on both ends of the floor. We struggled a bit in the last minutes, but won three of four quarters, so we can be happy about it."
VUJOSEVIC, DUSKO
Partizan NIS Belgrade
"I want to congratulate Zalgiris for the deserved victory. They started the game with high intensity. Zalgiris was better in all statistical elements except for turnovers. We need to have in mind that we were missing a lot of experienced players and our young team just couldn’t do better."

Players

DENTMON, JUSTIN
Zalgiris Kaunas
"It is a great win. We needed this one for our confidence. Before tonight, the third quarter was our biggest problem, but tonight we were much more aggressive and stopped the run of Partizan. I want to thank our coaches and scouting for doing a great job before the game and helping us to prepare for the game. It wasn’t easy because the opponents never gave up and we needed to be aggressive all the time. Also, I want to thank our fans for the great support."
BOGDANOVIC, BOGDAN
Partizan NIS Belgrade
"We started the game well, but Zalgiris is much more experienced than us. We improved in the second half, but we lost the game. The most difficult was the defense of the pick-and-roll, three-point shooting and rebounds. We are team which gets a lot offensive rebounds, but this time we failed to do it. And of course defense - we allowed them to score them so many points in the first half. Zalgiris has good shooters and we allowed them to score too many points. "
