Artur Drozdov and Tsintsadze stepped up for Budivelnik to tie the game, 32-32, at halftime. Tsintsadze took over after the break, scoring 6 points in a 7-0 run that made Budivelnik get lead for good, 47-38. Budivelnik boosted its margin to 55-42 at the end of the third quarter and then again to 74-49 with 3 minutes left, enough to cruise to a well-deserved win.

Kadziulis got Prienai going with a close jumper and soon added free throws for a 0-4 lead. Tsintsadze hit a jumper and fed Lyons for a dunk. Free throws by Delaney soon gave Budivelnik its first lead, 6-5. Valeika and Delaney traded baskets and a free throw by Janavicius tied it at 8-8. Lyons made foul shots and Drozdov put Budivelnik back ahead, 12-11. Orelik and Arturas Milaknis stepped up for Prienai but Dainius Salenga kept Budivelnik within 14-16. Prienai used a 0-6 run that Janavicius capped with a layup to extend its margin to 16-22 after 10 minutes. Siin-Sander Vene made free throws early in the second quarter but back-to-back jumpers by Anisimov and Tsintsadze brought Budivelnik within 20-24. Arminas Urbutis hit a jumper but a three-point play by Drozdov ignited an 8-0 Budivelnik run that Lyons capped with a triple that put the hosts ahead, 28-26. Milaknis hit a jumper that Delaney erased with a layup. Tsintsadze made free throws but Valeika singlehandedly allowed Prienai to tie the game, 32-32, at halftime.

Delaney hit a jumper after the break that Valeika bettered with a layup-plus-foul. Budivelnik found a new go-to guy in Lyons, who had consecutive baskets in a 6-0 run that Anisimov capped with a layup for a 40-35 score. Orelik took over with a three-pointer but he didn't find much help around. Tsintsadze stepped up with a layup, followed it with a jumper and scored off a steal to boost the hosts' margin to 46-38, forcing Prienai to call timeout. Lyons capped a 7-0 run with a foul shot. Kadziulis sank 4-of-4 free throws but Salenga and an unstoppable Tsintsadze kept Budivelnik way ahead, 51-42. Free throws by Tsintsadze and a layup by Anisimov fixed the score at 55-42 after 30 minutes. Valeika and Delaney traded baskets early in the fourth quarter. Delaney insisted from downtown and Sergiy Gorbenko copied him right after that to seal the outcome, 63-46, with 7 minutes to go. Both teams, however, kept fighting for points differential, which may be a critical issue in such a balanced group. An 11-0 run that Lyons capped with a layup, however, boosted Budivelnik's margin to 74-49, enough for its fans to celebrate a very important home win.
