Real Madrid breezed into the semi-finals of the ADIDAS NEXT GENERATION TOURNAMENT in L’Hospitalet by securing first place in Group A with a 3-0 record after a 101-53 blowout win over Galatasaray Istanbul. Domagoj Proleta paced six Madrid players in double figures with 18 points while Luka Doncic scored all 17 of his points in the first half to go with six rebounds and four assists. Santiago Yusta added 14 points, Felipe Dos Anjos had 12 points and eight rebounds, Jonathan Barreiro scored 11 points and Samba NDiaye collected 10 points and 11 rebounds. Galatasaray dropped to 1-2 to finish third in the group despite 18 points, six rebounds and four assists from Berkay Kansu while Bahadir Simsek had 14 points and Lazgin Ozkanli chipped in 12 points.

Galatasaray led 4-5 but Yusta nailed a three-ball as Madrid was up 11-5. Ata Sarikan and Yasin Unluturk both knocked down triples to knot the game at 11-11. Doncic responded with a three-pointer and the 15-year-old added another long ball to make it 19-13. Kansu trimmed the gap to 19-16 with a three-ball just before the first quarter buzzer. Proleta and Guillermo Mulero had back-to-back triples to start the second quarter and build a 26-16 lead. Madrid continued to keep its foot on the gas with Ignacio Ballespin hitting a three-ball and Dos Anjos scoring a put back to make it 35-20. Yusta followed later with a three-ball and Dos Anjos had two foul shots as the margin was up to 41-22. Simsek temporarily cut the deficit to 41-25 but Doncic made two more three-pointers to build the lead to 53-29 at intermission.

After Madrid increased the margin to 57-30, Kansu hit a three-ball. But Proleta knocked down a three-ball to push the lead to 29 points. Galatasaray got the deficit down to 64-39 but Yusta made two baskets and assisted on a Proleta score to lead 71-39 after 30 minutes. Ballespin knocked down a trey to start the fourth quarter as Madrid had too many weapons against Galatasaray. Barreiro scored four points to extend the lead to 83-43 and Proleta had five more points to increase the cushion to 94-50. The lead was as big as 48 points.
