Head Coaches

PLAZA, JOAN
Cajasol Seville
"We have to get used to playing very hard games on Sundays and Tuesdays. Hapoel Jerusalem is a Eurocup champion team; we had 17 turnovers and only 7 steals. Some Cajasol players did not play good games and they know it. We have to find the way to avoid mistakes and to compite to reach the Last 16."
KATTASH, ODED
Hapoel Jerusalem
"It was an incredible win, an excellent win. We played a great game; my players did great work. In the first quarter we played a great defense, but in the second quarter we didn't begin to play very well, so we had to react and we built a halftime lead of 11 points. In the second half, Cajasol had the opportunity, but we knew to keep our advantage. I'm proud of my players' reaction."

Players

KIRKSAY, TARIQ
Cajasol Seville
“They played a good game and we had too many turnovers, and it’s very difficult to compete that way. We have to improve our play because the Eurocup is a very hard competition. Now, it’s necessary to work to win the next game in San Pablo and then we will fight for a win on the road”
SOLOMON, WILLIE
Hapoel Jerusalem
“It was a great win for us because we fought against a great opponent. We played good defense in the first half, but in the third quarter, Cajasol played its best and we were able to react. We have two wins and that is important for reaching the Last 16, especially against a Spanis League team.”
