Joventut dropped just a single game the entire tournament but the loss in the semi-finals to FC Barcelona Regal kept it from fighting from the gold. Cajasol eventually finished the tournament with a 2-3 record but grabbed the fourth position. Albert Homs collected 21 points for the winners and Alberto Abalde added 13. Ali Sinera led Cajasol with 22 points while Beka Burjanadze and Adrian Camino scored 14 points each. Cajasol had the better start and took an 11-18 lead deep in the first quarter but then saw Joventut take over. First with seven points in a row to tie the score early in the second quarter and later with a 13-2 run late in the half to climb to a 47-32 gap, enough to finish the first 20 minutes with a 50-35 lead. The gap increased to 19 early in the closing quarter and a run by Burjanadze in the last two minutes squeezed the final gap to single digit.
