Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar
"We played terribly in the first quarter. I believe the game was majorly lost in the first quarter. We lacked energy, speed and confidence. Ulm is a physically developed team, and they are good as a team, not as a set of names. Our rival had only one defeat beforehand – from Valencia. We tried everything that we could, tried to build a team spirit, but we have to play better. This is what any coach would say. It was very difficult to make a comeback trailing by 15. But we had a minus 11 and possession, but we failed to score and got a thre- pointer from the rival. Psychology is crucial in such moments."

"I would like to thank my players for our game today. We played very well against a strong rival. We understood that Lokomotiv wouldn’t play in a way that it started that game all the time and they would become better and better during the game. We played orderly at both ends of the court and prevented Loko from shooting open shots. Each road win is important. In the championships, if you win all home games, you have all chances to playoff; and today we’ve laid a good groundwork for the future. We have to play at home against strong teams such as Loko, Valencia, Hapoel. Thus, we are glad with today’s win."
