“Congratulations to Maccabi first of all. Second of all, the way our team came back after the bad start made me proud. We’ve been in that situation before, for example last week, and we did not respond then. And the one thing we had promised ourselves was that we were going to keep fighting until the end. And doesn’t matter how big the other team punches – we’re going to keep standing and competing. That’s what we did. At the end we definitely had our chances to win the game. Couple of missed shots, couple of turnovers... Also Smith played very well in the clutch. But the play we did in the second half was something that we can build on and will build on. Martynas Gecevicius played a very good game on both ends of the floor. Defensively that was his best game, offensively he was huge. Seibutis played with great passion. His determination to win the game no matter what was contagious. As disappointed as we are that we lost the game, there were a lot of positive things.”

"We achieved a very important road win that moves us up in the group. We playyed really great in the first half and part of the third quarter and then their big run came. The crowd pushed them forward and all of a sudden all theri shots went in. The most important thing is that we did not give in, we stuck together as a team, kept on fighting and survived their counerattack. There were a few minutes where we really struggled and I felt that was the time to take responsibility. I always try to give my best for the team. "
