Head Coaches

ZDOVC, JURE
Spartak St Petersburg
"I expected such a tough game. But on the other side I thought we could win easier, that we would enjoy the game. But really we coudn’t find the rhythm. Bayern is a good team. And you also see our team is a little bit tired now after trips, time differences. Now we must to make our team fresh."
BAUERMANN, DIRK
FC Bayern Munich
"Congratulations to Spartak. I thought they played together very well, they controlled the ball. We had a chance to win when 6 minutes were left, we had a good situation in that time but we missed some open shoots. I think we missed experience of playing on this level."

Players

KEYRU, VICTOR
Spartak St Petersburg
"The game was tough and intense. We controlled the game but Bayern didn’t give us the chance to relax. We are happy that we won. The game in Munich will be next week and we’ll prepare for this match. Bayern is a very good disciplined team with a good coach."
JAGLA, JAN
FC Bayern Munich
"We are disappointed that we lost the second game in a row. We played different parts of the game today. Especially we couldn’t score in the second quarter. But also we had good parts of the game when we showed good basketball. I think we had to play like that all 40 minutes."
