Radnicki Kragujevac picked up its first win by outlasting Bisons Loimaa 92-89 in a high-scoring thriller. The hosts enjoyed a couple of big-time performances to stop the Finnish champs and hand them their first loss. Dennis Seeley led Radnicki with 23 points, while Marko Marinovic ran the offense beautifully with 20 points and 10 assists. Mouphtaou Monra Yarou dominated at both ends, scoring 17 points with just 2 missed shots in addition to 17 rebounds and 4 assists for a performance index rating of 41. Rounding out the Radnicki attack were Sava Lesic with 16 points and Nikola Kalinic with 11. Frank Robinson starred for Loimaa with 24 points, Matti Nuutinen added 13 points, Mikko Koivisto tallied 12 points and 6 assists and Tuukka Kotti scored 12 too.

"I commend the atmosphere, congratulations to the fans; they helped us win for first time in Europe. Bisons is good professional team, I think they could certainly qualify for the second round. They move without the ball the best in Europe. In preparation matches, I insisted to defend ourselves from such games. We have 10 new players, yet they will prove as a good team. We did our best. Our starters were key players, they determined the winner. If we get to the second round of the Eurocup, that would be our peak."

"Coach requires us always to play to win, and my task is to do a good job, especially in defense. I think I did it well, and in the end we came up the victory, which pleased me very much. I used to play differently before coming to Kragujevac, but in Radnicki I play as the coach asks. If it's needed to play strong defense , I'll do it; if he asks me to score points, I'm going to do that too. I have adopted this city, this is a victory for them."
