A 21-4 start to the final quarter broke the game open for Rytas, which got 16 points from Regimantas Miniotas, 13 from Aidas Einikis, 12 from Tautvydas Paliukenas and 11 plus 8 rebounds and 3 assists from Tomas Zdanavicius. Petr Ropek of Prague poured in 21 points on 10-for-11 two-point shooting as the game's high scorer. He also added 9 rebounds and 3 steals, to lead his team. Rytas never trailed in the game as three-pointers by Paliukenas to start the game and by Miniotas to break an early 9-9 tie gave their team control of the scoreboard. Einikis scored 11 points in the first 5 minutes of the second quarter as Rytas soared ahead 22-36. Ropek's 6 points in a row got Prague as close as 47-48 in the third quarter before Zdanavicius's three-point play saved Rytas to restore a 50-57 advantage after 30 minutes. A 21-4 run to open the final quarter made sure that Rytas could return to the Lithuanian capital with third place in hand.
