Ulm’s offense went dormant and a Bourdillon three-pointer and Hamilton three-point play started a 0-14 run to put Rishon up 16-19. Dragic added 7 more points and Ulm was up 25-22 before Adam Ariel’s three-pointer evened it 27-27 after 10 minutes. The gap was 75-68 after 30 minutes. Seth Hinrichs came off the Ulm bench for 5 points to keep Rishon at an arm’s length 80-75. Willis nailed 3 three-pointers in the span of 2:31 minutes to push Ulm ahead 91-80 with 4 minutes left. Dragic added a triple of his own and scored another basket as the gap was 96-83. Head Coaches

LAKOVIC, JAKA
ratiopharm Ulm
"I’m happy, most of all, for the guys. We were in a bad situation. We addressed the mental part of basketball. In the end, it’s a fun sport and they should enjoy it while they are playing, but with effort, intensity and defense. And today, they enjoyed it. I’m very happy for the win. I don’t have any time to look at the standings. We still have a lot of things to improve, to play better. We are not thinking too much about the future, just the next game. This will give us the right focus. "
GOODES, GUY
Maccabi Rishon LeZion
"It was hard for us with the offensive rebounding of Ulm; they took 15 and made a lot of threes. On the defense side, we couldn’t stop them. That’s how they got to 100 points. We will learn from this game and continue on."

Players

DRAGIC, ZORAN
ratiopharm Ulm
"It was very important for us and our confidence because we lost seven games in a row. I hope this will change things around. I’m happy for this win, but the game was very tough for us. We played well, but they were always in the game. So I’m happy that we won. Our aggressiveness was important. We need to be aggressive and be focused on what the opponent is going to do. I want to do everything. It’s not just about scoring. If you want to win the game, it’s about defense. Basketball is a team sport - five on five. Today was my day, tomorrow will be another guy. We are a young team and we try to be together."
BOURDILLON, FREDERIC
Maccabi Rishon LeZion
"I think we lost the game on defense. We didn't do the job one-on-one. They took a lot of offensive rebounds and we gave them a lot of free throws. Everybody needs to step up for the EuroCup."
