Head Coaches

SCARIOLO, SERGIO
EA7 Emporio Armani Milan
"First of all, congratulations to Olympiacos. They showed why they are the champions and why Vassilis Spanoulis is probably the best European player. Their offense was pick-and-roll, with great spacing and reading. We never were able to stop them. We lacked energy, we did not recover from Monday’s night game in Siena, and we were anxious on the offensive side. We wanted to go inside, finish and not dish the ball for open shots. It was not a good idea to go the rim, we did not read the situations well despite the fact that they are one of the best defense in the competition."
BARTZOKAS, GEORGIOS
Olympiacos Piraeus
"We had a good performance on both sides of the court. We stuck to our game plan, especially on the defensive side, against the isolation plays of Langford and Hairston. It's a very tough competition this season, and this was a key success for our season. I have to say congratulations to our team, because we stayed with our plan, but also to Milano’s fans because they recognized the great performance by Spanoulis, and gave him a standing ovation when he came off the court with a minute left in the game."

Players

COOK, OMAR
EA7 Emporio Armani Milan
"'We played a bad game, both on offense and defense, we missed energy, and you cannot play this way a so important game. It's a tough defeat because it's the second home loss, and now we have to think how to recover and come back, remains five games to the Top 16 and we have to work hard to stay on track."
SPANOULIS, VASSILIS
Olympiacos Piraeus
"It was like a final for us, both teams needed this win, so we prepared well and we played a great game on both sides, and we had an unbelievable performance with great offensive execution. We had to win, we played very good and we made a great effort, everybody did a great job, players and coaching staff, and now we keep going.

"I appreciated the standing ovation from the Milan fans; this means they liked my performance, and it's important to try to improve my game every day and the team game too."
