Head Coaches

LASO, PABLO
Real Madrid
"This win is very important for us. I want to congratulate my players because winning a Euroleague game by 20 points is not easy. Not even at home. We worked well and consistently but when they had two open power forwards they put us into trouble and got to 6 points. That's when I told my players that we had to defend harder and we managed to increase the lead to 20 points."
SARICA, UFUK
Anadolu Efes Istanbul
"We played bad. We never managed to stop their fastbreak even though we knew they play this way. They are a solid team in offense. We can only watch the game again and try to solve the mistakes and problems we have."

Players

SANZ, JORGE
Real Madrid
"I only played for 40 seconds but I am glad I had my sceond chance in the Euroleague. I wantto thank Sergio for looking for me so I could take that three that went in. Even if I played not for long, I will always rememberthis moment."
CARROLL, JAYCEE
Real Madrid
"I am going though a sweet moment in my game right now, and I am glad the team can use it to win. It's great to play with fans like Real Madrid's. Good fun. However I think that we have to defend a little better than we showed today."
RODRIGUEZ, SERGIO
Real Madrid
"We knew we had to win no matter what. We started well and I think that the 100 points show the style of our play. I love this system we have because it allows us to run the floor, however it's important to remember that it all will always start with good defense."
BATISTA, ESTEBAN
Anadolu Efes Istanbul
"We never surrendered but we couldn't win. I think the team is playing well but we can definitely play better and I hope we can show that the investment made by the club directors was not in vain. We have the pressure of the Final Four being in Istanbul but we just deal with it. We are in a complicated group with 4 or 5 teams of similar level. Thelevel shown by Real Madrid tonight was not a surprise."
VUJACIC, SASHA
Anadolu Efes Istanbul
"Real Madrid played really well, but that is no surprise to us. We knew that we are in a tough regular season group and now we are 2-3 but we have to keep working to try to at least get to a 4-3. I am fine in Istanbul but the team is new and we still have to integrate as a team."
