Maccabi Tel Aviv gained its 2nd win in the El Corte Ingles Junior tournament and a pretty tough one it was. AEK took an early lead and enjoyed another good performance by Spyros Magounis (20 points + 14 rebounds). Anton Kazarnovski had 10 points and 5 rebounds already by the end of the 1st quarter for Maccabi, and he also led a big comeback of the Israelies from minus 12 midway in the 3rd. Avi Ben-Chimol shined in the last quarter with 10 points out of his 23 and completed Kazarnovski's early work. With 10 ticks on the clock, and the game tied in 63, AEK made a flagrant foul on Ben Chimol, who scored the last 3 points and decided the game.
