"First of all, I would like to congratulate my team and our fans for a victory. It is very important we reached our third victory. We wanted to bounce back after last week's loss in Athens. We started the game very well, but later we had some problems because we tried to keep the result. Our opponents fought back, but we were able to take control back in our arms.“
FILIPOVSKI, SASO
Stelmet Zielona Gora
" Zalgiris was the better team tonight and deserved to win. We made tactital mistakes in defense. Our offense was good, but we couldn‘t make our shots. We missed too many shots and free throws. Nevertheless, it was fun to play here, Kaunas is a basketball city.“

Players

KALNIETIS, MANTAS
Zalgiris Kaunas
"We followed our game plan. Our defense was especially very solid. Our advantage was the big men, so we tried to give them the ball. Sometimes we had problems in offense. We have to to do a better job with moving the ball, but this time we were better in defense and stopped our opponents.“
PONITKA, MATEUSZ
Stelmet Zielona Gora
"We were prepared well for this and tonight fought hard, but we struggled on offense. Our shooting percentage was not good. We made just 3 three-pointers from 18 attempts. I also missed 4 clutch free throws at the end of the game. We defended well, but faced problems on offense.“
