Damir Omerhodzic had another big scoring game with 33 points and added another 11 rebounds, but Barcelona was too good for Cibona. The Croatians led at half time by 13, 40-53, but Barcelona had an amazing 3rd quarter, and already after 8 minutes in the 2nd half, Barcelona took a 64-61 lead. Cibona only managed to tie the score, but that's where it end. Josep Mestres led Barcelona with 28 points, 10/13 FG and 11 rebounds while Albert Moncasi, one of the most talented players in the games, had 16 points in 64% from the field.
