BC Hemofarm Stada got a 73-71 win over Spirou Charleroi in coming from behind style, on Tuesday night in Vrsac for Group C. Goran Jagodnik was the scoring leader for BC Hemofarm Stada with 25 points with a perfect 9 of 9 from the foul line and 6 rebounds, Vladan Vukosavljevic added 13 and Milos Borisov 10 while Andre Riddick had 12 and Justin Hamilton 10 for Spirou Charleroi. The Belgian side led with 17 points of margin, 27-44, late in the second quarter and seemed to be in control until the final two minutes when Hemofarm took the head for the first time and was able to maintain it until the final buzzer.

Spirou Charleroi started on fire reaching a 1-10 cushion pushed by Len Matela after just three minutes, then BC Hemofarm Stada reacted to be back closer on 17-23 at the end of the first quarter with Vladan Vukosavljevic unstoppable under the boards. Goran Jagodnik scored two from the foul line to be 23-27, but Charleroi made another big 4-13 sealed by Roel Moors from downtown to finish ahead the first half 27-40. Spirou extended the cushion to 27-44 with Matela and Justin Hamilton, early in the third quarter, but Hemofarm didn't give up and tried to return in the match on 40-48. Hemofarm was back again to 51-52 at the end of the third quarter and after Spirou got again a slim 56-60 advantage took for the first time in the match the head on 65-64 with two minutes left with a mid range jumper of Vukosavljevic. In the last minute Jagodnik, Joksimovic and Pavkovic were perfect from the free throws line to seal the success.

"I have to say that I'm glad that we won but we have repeated the scenery from the last match against Zagreb when we also played better in the second half. I'm asking from my players to play better in the first half especially in defense. Charleroi has lots of quality and we won over a better team tonight."
