Ignasi Moix - JT Barcelona Regal - NIJT Final Four London 2013FC Barcelona Regal beat Team England 69-58 in the closing game of Day 1 at the 2013 edition of the Nike International Junior Tournament Thursday evening at the London Soccerdome. Barcelona holds a 1-0 record at the end of Day 1 in Group B while Team England dropped to 0-1. In Day 2 action, Barcelona will play OKK Spars Sarajevo in a battle of 1-0 teams while Team England will face former champs INSEP Paris. Adria Cantenys led Barcelona with 15 points, Xavier Moix added 14 and Marc Garcia collected 10 points for the winners. Kingsley Okoroh led Team England with 12 points and Luke Nelson had 11. Barcelona needed one quarter to warm up and after 10 minutes the score was 19-15. A strong Barcelona defense held Team England to only three points in the first seven minutes of the second quarter and used good team play to take a 37-18 lead. Barcelona finished the first half with a 24-point advantage, 46-22. The big gap was too much for Team England to come back, as Barcelona went deep into its bench to share minutes and eventually finished with a big win.
