Dynamo Moscow had no problems at all to get its second win of the season thanks to a 32-14 score in the third quarter that lifted the Russian team to a final 97-76 Group F home win against Red Star. Dynamo is now 2-1 in the standings while Red Star drops to also 2-1 after losing its first game of the season. Henry Domercant led the winners with 22 points including 4 of 4 triples, Antonis Fotsis added 21 and Segrey Monya had 13. For the guests, Elmedin Kikanovic led the way with 15 points and Steven Markovic tallied 12. Red Star held on until the break with Omar Cook as protagonist, but a blue hurricane turned the game upside down in the third period as Dynamo Moscow found no opposition from minute 20 to 30.

Sergey Monya opened fire from downtown to give Dynamo its first lead, and Henry Domercant and Robertas Javtokas soon joined him in scoring to make it 13-10 for the hosts. Boris Bakic was the main man for Red Star with 4 points, but Domercant and Monya were on fire again and rained triples on Red Star's rim for a 22-17 gap despite the appearance of Omar Cook for the guests. In the last plays however, Mladen Sljivancanin and Vladimir Tica managed to get Red Star a little closer after 10 minutes, 27-23. Tica and Cook got Red Star within 2 points to start the second period and Elmedin Kikanovic tied it at 32-32 to start a new game. Domercant was still on fire from the arc and hit his fourth three for 16 points to get Dynamo ahead at 40-36, and the gap was maintained entering the halftime break when Antonis Fotsis left the scoreboard with a 44-38 after 20. Thinsg changed radically after the break when Dynamo came back to the court as an avalanche that swirled for a 32-14 partial score in the period. Domercant, Robertas Javtokas and Fotsis soon made it 59-40. Despite all the attempts of Red Star to regroup however, Dynamo never looked back or slowed down and by the end of the third quarter the scoreboard showed a 76-52. Elmedin Kikanovic appeared in the last period when it seemed too late for the guests, and in fact it already was as Fotsis kept Dynamo easily away.

"We played versus Red Star, a very good team. On this team there are many skillful talented players. Red Star plays simple but effective basketball and our young players Syrovatko and Khvostov played that game I wanted them to play. It means with a confidence."
KARADZIC, STEVAN

"This game is a good experience for our young team because Dynamo is a very good team, one of the best in our group. We played well in the first half and very bad in the third quarter. And of course the fourth quarter was the routine for Dynamo. I congratulate my friend coach Pesic for tha victory and I wish him and his team success in a future."
