"Tonight we played against a well disciplined team like Union Olimpija. We had a good advantage in the middle of the first half but we couldn’t defend it then. Union Olimpija never lost the concentration in the game and pushed us to trouble in the game. We had stupid turnovers like we never did in the previous matches. But we showed our real face lately in the game, starting by the end of the third quarter. We were really tough especially in the last quarter. The break point was our solid defense in the last period. We had 11 offensive rebounds all during the game and it was because of our energy we put in the game especially in the last period. We played the last possesion by Kerem Tunceri with pick’n roll. It was my decision in the timeout and that’s why he is so experienced. And he used the ball the way we wanted to, ended it with an excellent layup. Now we are chasing for the top spot in the group. But first of all, we have to move towards the Top 16. For that reason, ee have to win one or two matches, which we will play on the road. I can honestly say that we are better than two weeks ago."

Union Olimpija Ljubljana
"Congratulations to Velimir Perasovic and his team Efes Pilsen for their well deserved win. We played good generally in the game. We also had our chances to win. But they made some difficult three-point shots especially in the last quarter. It was a high percentage game from the three-point line. I cannot blame my players because they fought until the end.The last defense was very important. We paid much attention on it. We decided to defend but we failed. We might win the next matches. We just started the second part of the season and we have a difficult schedule. We have a very important game againt Armani Jeans Milano next week."

"Union Olimpija is a very well organized tough opponent. We lost in a dramatic way against them in Ljubljana on the road at the beginning of the season. Tonight, first of all, we played to win the game and secondly, to win the game by more than 5 points for a better average against them. If we play as aggressive as we played against Union Olimpija with in the next games, we can inrease our chances for the top spot in the group. Now we have to win some games on the road."
GREGORY, KENNY
Union Olimpija Ljubljana
"We lost a game which we could have won. And we also lost the way which we didn’t want to. We failed in their last offense and they had a 6-point win which it can be a disadvantage for us in the future. Anyway we did everything we could to win. Now we have to look forward to win the next matches in the group to remain on course for the Top 16."
