Lokomotiv Kuban got a huge 73-51 success over Gran Canaria 2014 in Group E to become the exclusive group leader with a 4-1 record, while Granca slipped to 3-2. Jeremiah Massey contributed to the win with a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds and an index rating of 28. Ali Traore added another 14 points and 11 boards. Maxim Shelketo scored 13 and Rod Blakney 11 for the victors. The visiting team got 16 points from Marquez Haynes, while Juan Palacios added 9 points and Spencer Nelson pulled down 11 boards.

Marquez Haynes opened the scoring from downtown for Gran Canaria, but in little time Maxim Shelekteto capped a 9-0 run for the home team to lead 9-3. Haynes tied the score at 9-9 from mid range before Massey completed a three-point play and Palacios from the foul line put the visitors again in front 12-13. Blakney scored from three-point land and Laurence Ekperigin hit a free throws to finish the first quarter on 15-14. The hosts started strong the second quarter with Primoz Brezec scoring underneath and Lionel Chalmers from beyond the arc to go to 20-14. Then Palacios from long distance made it 26-21. Blakney was on fire with his third triple and Brezec gave the first double-digit margin, 32-21. Haynes answered with a triple. Sheleketo posted a jumper, however Haynes and Sitapha Savane made a late 5-0 run to get within 34-39 at halftime.

Maxim Grygoriev from the foul line made it 38-29 early in the third quarter. Spencer Nelson trimmed the gap from the foul line, but Chalmers hit from mid range for 42-35. Alando Tucker scored off a screen for 46-39, but a Traore jump hook gave again a comfortable 48-39 margin to Lokomotiv, he increased with 2 free throws to 50-39 as the quarter finished. Traore from the top of the key and Blakney with free throws fueled Lokomotiv early in the last quarter to 54-41. Tomas Bellas posted a jumper, but baskets by Sheleketo and Massey gave the biggest margin so far, 58-43, to the home team. Spencer and Haynez tried to keep Gran Canaria rolling, but Grygoriev was on fire from long distance, and Massey was perfect from the foul line for a 65-47 lead with three minutes left in the game. The guests scored just 2 of 4 free throws through Palacios and Haynes and Massey converted an offensive rebounds and found easy points on the fast break to make it a 20-point game and wrap up the win.
