Hayes drained a three to give Ulm the lead 76-75 early in the fourth quarter, but Andorra started to stamp its authority with Tyson Perez and Llovet combining for 11 points in 3-15 run over the next 6 minutes for a 79-90 advantage with 3 minutes to play. Jerrett stopped Ulm’s scoring problems, but Massenat answered with a three-point play and Todorovic added 4 points as Ulm could not get back into the game.
No show by Willis
Derek Willis came into the game as Ulm’s second-leading scorer with 14.2 points per game, but the forward was held scoreless in 12:26 minutes, attempting only 1 three-pointer and grabbing 1 rebound with 2 turnovers and 1 block.
Strong Briscoe debut
While Ulm desperately missed Derek Willis's usual production - especially with Zoran Dragic out again, Isaiah Briscoe was excellent in his EuroCup debut with his new team, scoring 19 points including 3 three-pointers, 7 rebounds and 1 assist.
Andorra was on fire offensively, shooting 68.8 percent on two-point shots and 57.1% (12 of 21) on three-pointers. Andora also forced Ulm into 19 turnovers.
Ulm will head out on the road in hopes of beating Promitheas Patras on Wednesday, November 20 for its second victory in the group. Andorra meanwhile faces a tough test that same night when it hosts Segafredo Virtus Bologna.
