"It was a very bad game in all aspects, offense, defense, mentally, patience, too much selfishness in our game. We committed too many mistakes. This is not what this team wants to be. It would be a big mistake to talk too much about it tonight. We must wait for a little bit, until tomorrow, in order to review and analyze what happened tonight. But one thing is clear; things are not working right now. We are not in good form, but in any case we still have options. We will fight to make it, no matter if we need to achieve it with five or seven players only. I need the players that want to be here, that want to fight."
PACESAS, TOMAS
Asseco Prokom Gdynia
"I want to congratulate Caja Laboral for a big fight tonight, but today we were better. We gave everything we had to get back in this group. We knew that if we wanted to qualify to the next round, we needed to beat Caja Laboral on the road. I’m happy with the way we played. We played smart, we dominated under the baskets and we played like a team. Our shooting percentages were very good and that allowed us to win this game. I warned everybody that our group is unbelievably tough, every team is able to beat anybody."

Players

HUERTAS, MARCELINHO
Caja Laboral Vitoria
"I think that our physical condition is not an excuse for tonight’s upset. We felt good physically, but we were unable to keep control of the game in the second half. Varda did a great job tonight. We feel very disappointed because this game was crucial for us, but we cannot think of that anymore, we just need to work harder and keep fighting. When they rallied back in the second half, we got nervous and missed some more calmness in our game. We must be smarter at those moments. Now we must win all our games and that’s what we will try to do."
JAGLA, JAN
Asseco Prokom Gdynia
"We played very hard all game long. We played for the first time together as a team both in offense and defense. We had 11 guys that played a lot of minutes and maybe they felt a bit tired in the end. We had to win, if we lost tonight everything would be finished for us, so we played focused all the time. We gave all our energy and played a very good game to get the win. We played tough all night, right from the beginning when the game was even or we were down, we knew that it was going to be a close game in the end, so when we made a good run in the last quarter we realized we had a good chance of winning. Unfortunately we couldn’t overcome the point difference, but still it is a great win for us."
