Nenad Miljenovic - FMP - NIJT Berlin 2009FMP keeps all chances to keep defending the Euroleague Basketball Nike International Junior Tournament title by thrashing Unicaja 57-81 in a showdown between previously undefeated teams in Group B on Friday. FMP is the only undefeated team in this group and will make it to the final if it beats Montepaschi Siena tomorrow. Meanwhile, Unicaja went down to 1-1 and has no chance to play in the 02 World on Sunday. Nenad Miljenovic, the youngest player on the court at age 16, paced the winners with 13 points. Nikola Vukasovic added 12, Dejan Musli posted a double-double of 11 points and 17 rebounds while Branislav Djekic had 10 points for FMP. Malick Fall had 12 points for Unicaja while Rafael Freire and Jose Pozas each added 11. Despite not having its best game against Alba Berlin yesterday, FMP showed its entire potential against Unicaja. FMP had a strong start, basing its game in a dominante Musli, who outplayed Unicaja centr Augusto Lima in the early going. FMP kept increasing its lead, getting a 13-18 edge after 10 minutes. Miljenovic showcased its talent with seven points late in the first half to make FMP get a 27-44 margin at the break. Unicaja managed to get within 37-49 early in the third quarter but did not go much further. Miljenovic controlled the game tempo, Musli stayed as the go-to guy around the baskets while Djekic, Strahinja Mladenovic, Filip Duran and Vukasovic also paced FMP to a well-deserved win. javigancedo: Siempre Vladimir Stankovic, Berlin
