Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade completed Group A action of the Euroleague Basketball Nike International Junior Tournament - Milan with a perfect 3-0 record by easing past Team Brazil 78-64. Stefan Lazarevic was one of four Crvena Zvezda players in double figures with 14 points to go along with nine rebounds and four assists while Aleksandar Aranitovic had 12 points and both Vojislav Stojanovic and Nikola Rakicevic had 10. Crvena Zvezda had already won Group A before the game and will play in the championship game on Sunday. Team Brazil leaves Milan with an 0-3 record in its first NIJT tournament. Lucas Teodoro had 12 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and three steals in the loss while Lucas Siewert scored 16 points and Junio Duval had 10. Crvena Zvezda scored the first seven points of the game and was up 11-2 early. Brazil got back to within 11-6 before the group winners went on an 8-0 run to close the first quarter with a 19-6 lead. Crvena Zvezda added the first five points from the second quarter as the run extended to 13-0 for a 24-6 advantage. The South Americans fought hard and scored the next five points to get the margin down to 24-11 and had it as close as 28-16. But Stojanovic and Lazarevic pushed the cushion out to 34-17 and Crvena Zvezda led 38-18 at the break. Marko Radovanovic and Stefan Kenic scored early in the second half to make it 44-24 before Brazil scored the next six points to trim the deficit to 14 points. Crvena Zvezda hit the final nine points of the quarter and led 53-30 after 30 minutes. Crvena Zvezda did not let up early in the fourth, increasing the advantage to 62-35. Brazil would get back to as close as 19 points at 64-45, but Crvena Zvezda led by 27 later in the game.
